“While I was moving around the room, I listened in to the conversations taking place. I could visibly see and hear “seeds being sown” in the minds of the emerging workforce about their future pathway. I'm sure the students will now be better placed to investigate their future career pathways and their options; it was awesome to watch.”

“I learned a lot about the different work around and workers and talking to them encouraged me to start thinking about getting a job."

“Good to talk to people that are actually involved with the things I want to do after I finish high school.”

"I would like to take this opportunity to thank you again for your generosity and your considering our organisation as a beneficiary of your donation. I have spoken with the Loaves and Fishes manager and have been informed that we will use your donation to make 80 emergency food relief meals, single serve at a cost of $2.00 each. These meals will be distributed throughout the local community and provide much needed relief for families finding it hard to make ends meet. Once again thank you for thinking of us and your generosity."

“Kentish House would like to say a huge THANK YOU to Mead Con and Ulverstone Volunteer Fire Brigade. Over January, Mead Con's Employee Review Group [ERG] members ran a pantry items/toiletries donation drive for Mead Con employees to participate in. One of Mead Con's staff members, David Stott, volunteers with the Ulverstone Volunteer Fire Brigade, and they also participated. The donations were then split between Devonport Community House & Kentish House. Thank you for supporting our community."

"We would love to acknowledge the kindness and generosity of the team at Mead Con in Spreyton for their generous donation to the Food Pantry at Devonport Community House. The staff at Mead Con ran a fundraiser and collection over January for pantry items and toiletries which Mead Con matched in value. Thank you for thinking of our community."
