Mead Con Building & Civil Contractors pride themselves on close consultation with their valued clientele and Kim & John Digby of inSPArations Day Spa were no exception.
Previous projects completed for Kim & John have been The Warehouse Traders in 2001 & Spreyton Hair & Beauty in February 2006 placing us in an excellent position to complete the final stage of their development - inSPArations day spa. Working with clients who have a clear vision of their requirements and being able to provide a supervisor with whom they have worked before made for an efficient flowing project.
160m² extension to existing salon
The new extension consisted of an 160m² addition to the existing hair salon. Construction comprised slab, on ground timber framed walls with a combination of harditex rendered walls and colorbond cladding installed at an angle of 22 degrees. The roof is skillion colorbond clad.
Coordination
The inSPAration day spa was completed with no interruptions to the business flow of the hair salon adjoining the extension. The final hole cut thru to link the two reception areas together was concluded after hours and once completed there was minimal work remaining before inSPArations was open for business.
Completed project
The finalised project combined the existing hair salon and the new day spa with one front entry waiting area.
The InSPArations day spa extension consisted of:
- Relaxation room
- Couples room with large double shower consisting of 2 showerheads, 10 Fine Spray Jets and 4 control Mixers
- 2 facial rooms
- Hydro capsule room
- Pedi spa room (with 2 pedi spas)
A very successful working partnership between Mead Con and Kim and John Digby produced a welcoming, indulgent and calming atmosphere where their clients can gently de-stress.
